Impasto Medium

Transform the texture of your oil paintings with our Impasto Medium. This dense paste, which thickens and stiffens oils, is ideal for creating hard impasto.

Made from a malleable, lead-free resin putty, this medium accentuates paint strokes, retaining brush and knife marks on surfaces once dry. Dries in 2 days to a matte finish.
For impasto over 3 mm thick, without creating cracks, add 10% Flemish medium and obtain a satin finish.
