AN ARTISTIC JOURNEY IN GOUACHE

LINEL EXTRA-FINE GOUACHE BY LEFRANC BOURGEOIS

The Linel extra-fine gouache collection is made in Le Mans, France, and contains 78 colors, some of them patented and developed with great masters such as Henri Matisse. The collection inspires illustrators as well as prestigious designers in jewelry, architecture, fashion and decoration. It is appreciated for its creamy texture and matte, opaque finish. Discover our two artists and set off on a journey with Linel.

PAWM / ILLUSTRATOR / STREAMER

Déborah Goua, known as Pawm, takes her community on a journey with her many landscapes. She experimented with various artistic techniques, such as acrylic, watercolor and oil, before fully devoting herself to gouache.

In 2021, Pawm made her debut on the Twitch platform, where she shares live not only her gaming sessions, but also her artistic talent. For her, the power of color offered by Linel Lefranc Bourgeois extra-fine gouache was a real revelation!

TRAVEL WITH PAWM

A great lover of the Japanese animated films produced by the famous Studio Ghibli and its founder Hayao Miyazaki, she paints the many landscape scenes that appear in them. In July, Pawm set herself a new challenge: to create a landscape every week for seven weeks! Her aim is to inspire her community to create and travel through a new biome every week.

Her works take us straight to the heart of the varied landscapes she illustrates, such as desert, sea, mountain and many others.

BOARDING WITH MARIE DÉTRÉE

Brittany-born artist Marie Détrée has been honored with the prestigious title of Peintre Officielle de la Marine (POM), a century after the famous Mathurin Méheut. The title of Official Painter of the Navy gives her a military status and authorizes her to discover all the seas of the world.

She masters oil painting, but gouache remains her preferred technique, which she has used for years to illustrate her travels.

COURSE FOR DJIBOUTI

From Antarctica to Djibouti, Marie Détrée's voyages on the seas and oceans are always a source of inspiration, nourishing her maritime culture and her artistic passion.

She takes us to Djibouti, always with her sketchbook in hand to paint the different landscapes, motifs and inhabitants.

Did you know?

DID YOU KNOW?

The painter Henri Matisse, master and leader of Fauvism, adored Linel extra-fine gouache. Never forgetting to praise it in every interview, he also played an active role, in collaboration with chemists and researchers Lefranc Bourgeois, in the creation of Linel fixed violet.
