The Lefranc Bourgeois extra-fine oil range is produced in France, in Le Mans, and gives the paint an intensity linked to the richness and quality of the pigments, the grinding of which is always carried out in the purest respect of tradition. The resulting pastes are extremely fine, homogeneous and very smooth. 120 colours make up this colour chart, in 20 ml, 40 ml, and 7 colours in 200 ml. This makes it the first alternative to traditional art materials, originally developed in 1954 for opera sets. Its velvety, extra-fine texture, highly concentrated in pigments selected for their resistance to light, supple, fluid and covering, is composed of a binder based on vinyl resin in emulsion allowing dilutions and cleaning with water.

Made in France, in Le Mans, Flashe extra-fine vinyl paint is available in 76 colours, including 38 single-pigment shades that are perfectly compatible with the other ranges.

The Watercolour Colour Chart

Watercolor is a paint composed of ground pigments and gummed water, appreciated for its transparency and luminosity.

Watercolor dates back to the Middle Ages, although it has been known since Egyptian times. It reached its apogee as an art form during the Renaissance. Watercolor is defined as water paint on paper. The gum arabic contained in the paint binds the pigments together, leaving the watercolor transparent and luminous on the support. The quantity of pigments present in the paint allows you to play with the intensity of the color once it has been mixed with water.
